Today, we continue with our exposition of Titus. We are up to verse 12 of chapter 3, where Paul begins his personal discourse, as he does in many of his letters. It is easy for us to skip over the final verses in many of the epistles . . . because Paul is done teaching. He has already given all of his instruction. He is simply closing out his letter with some personal remarks. However, these verses are here for a reason. There are no throw away statements anywhere in the Bible. We have something to learn from every single verse. So, our aim today is to try and figure out at least some of what we can learn from Paul’s personal discourse here at the end of Titus.
